Enjoy the Easter Holidays Somewhere Special

If you’re thinking of going away for the Easter holidays you may want to go somewhere special. While many people are happy to stay in the same country during the holidays there are those who love to explore different parts of the world. An Easter holiday spent abroad can be even more special than at home.

Let’s take a look at some great places that are well worth visiting during these special holidays:

The Canary Islands

The Canary Islands are the ideal place to enjoy a bit of time away from it all. If you plan to travel with children you may want to think about staying in Lanzarote or Tenerife as they have some very child-friendly hotels. There are also a few areas that are ideal if you happen to be travelling with toddlers, which means your little ones can enjoy themselves too. The weather is usually very good at this time of year and although you shouldn’t expect to see summer temperatures you won’t find yourself feeling cold.

Cyprus

If you want to enjoy a gloriously sunny time away then you need to consider heading to Cyprus. You should see temperatures reaching as high as 21 degrees Celsius and up to 9 hours of sunshine every day. Make sure you arrive before many other tourists and you’re likely to get some great Easter deals. If you want to spend your time in an area of Cyprus that is very tourist-friendly you may want to head to Paphos. Alternatively, there are a few quieter areas that you may find just right for you.

Japan

When it comes to booking an Easter break you may not have automatically thought of staying in Japan. However, if you want to enjoy a holiday somewhere very special Japan is the ideal destination. Indulge yourself in a whole new culture and experience what life is like in Kyoto or  Takamatsu. Temperatures in Japan during the Easter break are unlikely to be higher than 18 degrees Celsius during the daytime. This means you can enjoy your Easter break without putting up with those high temperatures that you may see elsewhere.

California

Would you like to enjoy a bit of sun and sophistication? Why not make your way to California during the Easter holidays? You could take a trip to Disneyland if you have little ones with you, or even if you don’t! You should expect to see temperatures as high as 21 degrees Celsius in April, making it a little warmer than many other places but not unpleasant. If you would like to visit a cooler part of California head to San Francisco where temperatures reach around 17 degrees Celsius.

If you would like to enjoy your Easter holidays somewhere special then why not consider visiting the Canary Islands, Cyprus, Japan or California? You can make your time away very special by going somewhere different. Get your passport at the ready, pack your bags and jet off to another part of the world and make sure you enjoy all that it has to offer.
